The Canvas Modern 20 bass is designed for the player that wants more
power directly from the bass and more high frequency output for popping
and slapping. The body is ash, and this brightens up the two medium output
passive pickups. Three knobs control volume, tone, and balance, for full
range of tones. The neck is maple, scale length is 34 inches, standard
long scale. Fro maximum tone and to minimize dead spots, the headstock
ins not angled. The fretboard is 24 frets. The deep cutaway allows easy
access to the high end of the fingerboard. The neck is mounted to the body
with a standard 4-bolt neck plate, like a vintage bass. The body is finished
in a satin low-gloss open pore finish for low end punch, bright highs and
good looks.
